Reporting a listing or user
You should report a listing or user if you believe they are:
- Selling prohibited items
- Misrepresenting an item
- Using stolen images
- Harassing other users
- Attempting fraud
- Selling counterfeit or stolen goods
- Asking for unsafe payment methods
To report an issue, email:

- Your name
- Your account email
- The listing or user involved
- Screenshots if available
- A short explanation of what happened
Safety guidance
RE connects students, but transactions are completed directly between users.
To stay safe:
- Meet in a public place where possible
- Prefer locations on or near campus
- Check the item before paying
- Do not send money before seeing the item unless you fully trust the arrangement
- Avoid sharing unnecessary personal information
- Do not continue with a transaction if something feels suspicious
- Report suspicious behaviour to RE
Payments
RE does not currently process payments, hold deposits, provide escrow, or guarantee transactions.
Buyers and sellers are responsible for agreeing payment methods directly.
Prohibited items
The following items are not allowed on RE:
- Alcohol
- Tobacco
- Vapes or e-cigarettes
- Weapons
- Prescription drugs
- Illegal drugs
- Counterfeit goods
- Stolen property
- Adult products
- Illegal digital content
- Exam answers or academic cheating materials
- Unsafe products
- Recalled products
- Financial products or services
- Any item that is unlawful, unsafe, or inappropriate for a student marketplace
We may remove listings or suspend accounts that breach these rules.
